Dr. Maria Montessori believed that every child, from the moment of birth is driven by an innate unconscious urge that drives the child towards independence. Each human child have the enormous potential to learn and thrive and to develop to their full potential through opportunities in a favourable environment.

By understanding child development one can tailor their environment according the needs and developmental level of each individual child and provide opportunities to explore, experiment and create thus helping the child fulfill their intellectual, spiritual, emotional, social and physical potential.
